Should we have an official crew outfit?

Yea, a crew outfit could be sweet! - but it shouldn't be required to wear it.
Yea, and making it required would be cool. That way everybody would know we're the llamas!
Yea, but it should only be required in events like heists, crew wars etc.
Nah

Crew Outfit?
« on: October 22, 2013, 07:23:50 am »
I've been asked a lot of times whether we could introduce an official crew outfit or a dress-code in the crew with specific outfits or specific colors used at clothes.

So here you go:
- How should our standard outfit look like?
- Should it vary based on the different ranks in the hierarchy or in-game crew-ranks?
- Should it be a crew-requirement to wear a specific outfit?

Feel free to upload pictures from Social Club with examples if you got ideas to a specific outfit! :)

Cheers

I think it would be interesting to implement a hierarchy-based dress-code - though i'm a muscle haha - and maybe have the higher ranks wearing suit jackets (the king suit for the leader, commissioners red, etc...)

Muscles could then maybe be a bit more liberated and only have to wear the crew emblem in any way we like (i've heard about the newest version of it, and that it's almost done - i look so much forward to seeing that ViolinGorilla/Sean!)

Implementing the crew color for vehicles would also be cool or maybe a crew vehicle like the Merryweather Mesa.

EDIT: credits to nruhdal for the selfie, which is meant to showcase one of the suit jackets.

What about us who have the female characters? These suits won't be available? :)

In my opinion it would be a good idea to use a crew outfit... but NOT as a crew-requirement. The freedom to choice between outfits is one of the fun things about the game (and it wont be fun if it's required to wear the same outfit as the rest of the crew. :)

I would be more likely to wear the crew outfit in events of course.

I think it would be better to just choose colors instead of outfits.
This way, everyone can keep their own style

I think we need somekind of clothing "hierarchy" tho:

Baggyjeans, Workingpants, T-Shirts, Hoddies TrackJackets, TankTops for Muscle
Chinos, Baseball Tees, Polos, Shirts (untucked) for Representatives
Fitted Jeans, Shirts (tie) Vests(Bowtie) Opened Jackets for Lieutenants
Suit Pants, Shirts, Jackets(Tie or Bowtie) for Commisioners
And our great leader: nruhdal should be free to wear any of these tiers of clothing.

Now you may wonder about hats and glasses?
I think we should have "classes" in the crew:

Driver
Soldier
Pilot
Etc.

This should determine what kind of accossories you are allowed to have.

This might be a suitable outfit for a higher rank Driver

Hi folks.
In my humble opinion; We should dress with the times! The current update is "Beach Bum", we should dress accordingly until the next patch is out. Thoughts?
